Art Beijing and Art Shanghai, both organized by the Chinese Government, are the most important cultural events in the Chinese art market, which is nowadays the most important in the world and will go on expanding. This year, about 150 art galleries and several national and international museums took part in the show. As regards Maestro Gianfranco Meggiato (who participated in the event in collaboration with Gallery M of Vienna, Seoul, and Bratislava), this has been the fifth show in China and the third in its capital city. Both public and art professionals showed much interest in his sculptures, so that their prices increased 10% worldwide. Moreover, during the participation in Art Beijing a project has been planned together with the Times Art Museum, one of the most prestigious in town, in order to organize a touring solo show that will be opened next spring and will travel to Tokyo and Seoul.
