On Monday, March 19, two Double Spheres made of stainless steel and bronze measuring 48″ in diameter wre placed in the lobby of Ergife Hotel in Rome. The production of such works, commissioned by Galleria Il Novecento (Salerno and Poltu Quatu), was very complicated since they were the first ones created by Gianfranco Meggiato using steel. This notwithstanding, the final result was immediately appreciated by the managing board of the hotel, which can boast 35 conference halls and is among Rome’s most important locations for conferences and institutional and political conventions.
